Mediterranean Olive Dip Recipe

Mediterranean Olive Dip

This Mediterranean Olive Dip has a great, unusual flavor that is sort of a new twist on an old favorite. It is great for dipping vegies and crackers, but it really is different than the standard dill dip we're used to.

-16 ounces sour cream
-1/2 can black olives, drained and chopped
-4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
-1/2 can (2.25 ounce) green chiles
-1/3 package ranch dressing mix (this is about 3 teaspoons or so)
-1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/8 teaspoon onion powder

Mix all the ingredients together and chill. I also use this recipe in place of plain sour cream for all of my Mexican disehs too. It is great with taco salads, nachos or burritos. This dip has an out-of-the-ordinary flavor and just what you're looking for when you need to have something new to impress your guests!
