Beau Monde Vegie Dip

Beau Monde Dip

Beau Monde Dip is so named for the Beau Monde Seasoning that goes into it. This is my favorite vegetable dip because it isn't overpowered by the dill that goes into most vegie dips and if you have to eat those vegies, you ought to enjoy them.

-1 cup real mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
-1 cup sour cream
-1 teaspoon dry parsley
-1 teaspoon grated (or finely chopped) onion
-1 teaspoon Beau Monde Seasoning-this is a seasoning blend by Spice Island and can be found in the spice aisle of your grocery store but if you can't find it, substitute an equal mixture of celery salt and onion salt and you should come pretty close
-1 teaspoon dill weed

Mix all ingredients together and chill for several hours. Serve with raw vegetables like cauliflower, carrots, green beans, red or green peppers, zucchini. I usually hollow out a whole red or green pepper and put my dip inside with the vegies around it to make a pretty serving plate.
